The guide is very useful and complete it gives highlights of the best of the city it also gives you an idea on how to organize your holidays.Paris in the way is layout it can be confusing, the guide explains you each arrondissement or division and also how easy is to get from one place to the other.
Transportation is very easy because the metro systems in Paris is one of the best in Europe.
The event calendar included in the guide is a good tool I had no idea there were so many diverse events during the year.
You can see Paris in a weekend but you can also stay a week and not get bored the guide helps you to decide what experience you want.
When in Paris try the macaroons you can find little shops everywhere and fresh they are yummy.

Although, I didn't follow everything presented in this book, it was still a good addition to my other guide books. I like to research a lot, before visiting other countries, so this wasn't the only book I used. Never hurts to use more than 1 guide D
